The marriage of Adam and Eve had its ups and downs just like all marriages. They lived in a paradise and bliss. All young marriage couples in in the same bliss of those early years. Both man and woman were created by the LORD God with uniqueness and equality in complexity and unity. It was the LORD who instituted marriage in all its ups and downs.
